We are a 501(C)4 organization therefore donations are non-deductible

This organization and site have been created because Hope Island, Harpswell, Cousins Island, and other Casco Bay islands are being considered as sites for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility.

Update to our contributors and supporters:

At this point there is a tendency to feel the crisis is over for a terminal in Casco Bay. However, as we all know there is still discussion and the possibly that another site will be identified. After much consideration, the Board of Directors of Save Casco Bay does not feel we are in the clear. Until the pipeline in Maine reaches its full potential we are not free from an LNG threat to our bay.

"The Energy Bill has now been passed by the House of Representatives -- and is largely based on last year's anti-consumer, anti-environment legislation.  Meanwhile, the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources has offered draft language on select titles.

Continued, vocal opposition to this bill is crucial. We urge you to contact your Senators to voice your opposition to this regressive bill. "
